Memorial For Michael Chase

Please join us this weekend in person or online to honor Michael’s life.

Memorial For Michael Chase

This Saturday, January 31 at 2:00pm my sons and I, along with family and friends from Hong Kong and around the world, will gather at The Vine Church in Wan Chai to honor Michael. We warmly invite you to join us in person if you are able. Following the memorial there will be a reception with light refreshments within the same building.

There will be condolence cards available to sign before the memorial and at the reception, with space to write a short memory of Michael. These will be collected in a book for the family.

For those unable to travel to Hong Kong or join us in person, you are welcome to join via livestream on YouTube.

We understand our global community of friends and family covers many time zones. Please know the Memorial will be available to view later at your convenience at the same link. Please find the link to view by clicking here or by scanning the QR code in the image below.

Many people have asked what they can do to help, and I want to share one option with lasting impact here.

While crowdfunding platforms remain under scrutiny and restriction in Hong Kong, Michael’s sisters have generously started a GoFundMe campaign based in America to build a fund for their nephews’ futures. This will go toward events and milestones which Michael would have been there to support them not just emotionally and practically, but financially. This is not for current day-to-day needs, but a “Dad Fund” for big moments when Michael’s absence will be felt most acutely: university graduations, weddings, starting their own families, etc. If you wish to help by contributing to this savings account to benefit their futures, please find details here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-for-nathan-and-benjamin-chase.

On behalf of Michael’s sisters and my sons, thank you.

Thank you for the continued support, kind words, cards, and prayers. I remain deeply grateful for the great love shown to my sons and I as well as the extended Chase family during this extremely difficult time. We hope to see you at the Memorial on Saturday or to connect with you soon.
